Road to 250, episode 2: our first week, reviewed

Hello LinkedIn, as promised, here is the review of this first week. Some good, some less good.
I'm testing a format, tell me what you think: less waffle than usual, bullet points it is.
- 30 backers on Ulule. We are 220 short, if my maths is right. Far too few for a first week, but we remain optimistic: the feedback is very good and we still have plenty of cards left to play to give the project visibility.
- We are working with a PR agency. But for now, without a product to send, it is hard to get meaningful results: stalled on that front.
- We have 5 battery-powered prototypes. We use them every day to test, fix and improve the whole KAÏDO infrastructure before shipping the real first pre-series.
- We started posting Reels of the prototype. We are still in development, so be kind, but feel free to take a look at our Insta.
- We launched Insta and GPT ads (thanks Ignace Blanco, the best). Early results are pretty good: around 6.8% CTR. I will do a full review in another post if you are interested.
- We got our first hater comments. ❤️
- We are taking lots of investor calls, with very good feedback so far.
- We started talks about manufacturing the pre-series, in other words: going from a prototype to something we can actually industrialise. I really have to tell you about it in another post because it is an incredible world. (Childhood dream: watching your product being made. Can’t wait to film a video in the factories.)
- And finally: we went from v29 to v35 of the KAÏDO architecture. The sphere is more responsive, the LEDs are much better handled and, for things learnt by heart, it gives the information: the "never give the answer" rule was a bit too strict after all 😅
- I started watching Ted Lasso.
For those who would like to support us, it is on Ulule. And if you want me to dwell on a particular point next week, tell me on LinkedIn.
Anyway, no time for daydreaming: back to work.
