KAÏDO, sphere seen from the front, face and the light on its sides
A child and their parent around KAÏDO during homework

Activate it, it listens, it guides.

40 seconds to understand how KAÏDO transforms homework time.

Zero screens.
One hundred percent focus.

PISA 2025 and the French Ministry of Education point to the same thing: growing exposure to screens weighs on pupils' results. KAÏDO supports homework without adding one more screen.

One question,
one path forward.

Not the answer, but the way to reach it. This is what real help looks like, without cheating.

Kaïdo, I’m stuck on 7 × 6…
Let’s do it together. Do you remember 7 × 5?
35
Yes! And 7 × 6 is 35 plus one more group of 7. How much is that?
42?
Well done. And you’re the one who found it.

2 ways to help.

A helping hand, whenever they need it.

A child activating the KAÏDO sphere during their homework
01

Stuck on a question?

They activate KAÏDO, read the question out loud and ask for help.

02

KAÏDO helps them understand.

To pinpoint the exercise and the sticking point, KAÏDO can ask questions back.

03

The child finds the answer alone.

KAÏDO guides them with the right questions, never answering in their place. The light shows whether they’re making progress, need to think some more or need a hand.

You know where they stand, without sitting beside them.

Progress, sticking points, topics to review: KAÏDO gives you the right signals to step in when it’s really useful.

Teaching at the
heart of the product.

Getting hold of an answer is no longer something you have to learn. Finding one yourself still is. KAÏDO was designed with teachers and education specialists to support children with method. Because explaining well is a craft, KAÏDO doesn’t simply give answers: it asks the right questions, rephrases and helps the child find the way on their own. KAÏDO slows down when the child is stuck, and encourages them to go further when they’re ready.

Always with them, never in their place.

It brings
the joy back to
homework.

Always motivating, never a burden.

We’re parents,
too.

KAÏDO wasn’t born in a lab. It was born at 6:30 p.m., in our kitchens, between dinner on the stove and an “I caaan’t do it!”.
Homework time, we live it every evening. With its sticking points, its sighs, everyone’s tiredness…
We created KAÏDO to make that moment simpler, calmer and more enjoyable for the whole family.

Where KAÏDO excels.
Where it’s less good.

Where KAÏDO excels

  • Everything spoken and reasoned : mental maths, word problems, conjugation, grammar, oral dictation.

  • Reading and understanding : reading aloud, text comprehension, re-reading instructions.

  • Learning and reciting : history and science lessons, poems, times tables, spoken English.

  • Method, above all : trying, getting it wrong, self-correcting, until they find it alone. Never the answer.

Where it’s less good, we tell you

  • Construction geometry : using a compass or set square is learned by showing the gesture, not by voice.

  • Handwriting itself : letter formation, neatness, laying out a column sum.

  • The notebook in real time : KAÏDO doesn’t see what the child writes while they write. The photo comes before or after.

  • What is judged by eye : drawing, the neatness of a timeline or a map, the presentation of a page. KAÏDO does not see the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does KAÏDO give my child the answers?

No, never: KAÏDO guides with questions so the child finds the answer on their own, instead of giving the solution. From the app, parents only adjust the level of guidance, more or fewer hints, never the answer in the child’s place.

Will KAÏDO improve my child’s results?

We promise no grades. What we work on is the way of learning: searching, getting it wrong, correcting yourself, daring to ask. International assessments describe exactly this foundation as the one most often missing today.

From what age?

KAÏDO is designed for ages 6-11, the primary-school years, building up to a smooth transition to middle school. The level of guidance adapts to each child from the parent app.

Can my child talk about anything with KAÏDO?

No, and that’s by design. KAÏDO is not just another AI: it is a pedagogical engine that sits between the AI and the child. Its role is deliberately limited to homework time: understanding an instruction, explaining a concept, guiding a line of reasoning, encouraging. It is neither a chatbot, nor a companion to chat with, nor a storyteller. Its scope is limited so the child stays focused, and so you know exactly what it’s for. Learn more about our AI safety philosophy

Does KAÏDO replace the parent or the teacher?

Neither. KAÏDO is a bridge: it helps the child move forward on their own and gives you the right signals to step in when it’s truly useful. The methods remain those of the school, and the important moments remain yours.

Does my child have to look at a screen?

No. KAÏDO is a screen-free sphere. Everything happens through voice and light: the child speaks, KAÏDO listens and guides, and the light on its sides shows whether they’re heading in the right direction.

How does KAÏDO know what my child is working on?

In two ways. Either the child activates it and asks their question. Or you photograph the lesson and the exercise from the app, then turn on listening mode for the duration of the exercise. KAÏDO then follows the reasoning and notices if the child goes off track.

Is my child’s data protected?

Yes. GDPR-compliant, no reselling, no advertising, no trackers. The photos and audio from a session aren’t kept afterwards, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the parent app.

Which subjects are covered?

All school subjects (literacy, maths, history-geography, science, languages) are included for life. Conversational English is available as an add-on via the Pass Univers.

Can I use it for several children?

KAÏDO is designed as a single child’s companion: it’s one KAÏDO per child. Each child gets their own sphere, their own pace, and their own personal progress.

How is KAÏDO designed pedagogically?

We rely on teachers’ input to design and continuously improve KAÏDO: their expertise shapes how KAÏDO supports the child, so it stays accurate, caring, and true to school methods.
