How it works

Two ways to use Kaïdo depending on the moment.

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Kaïdo supports the child during homework with a simple idea: help them move forward, without doing it for them.

Depending on the family's needs, Kaïdo can be used in two ways:

On their own, when the child does their homework alone with Kaïdo by their side.

In a guided session, when the parent prepares the homework beforehand from the app, so that the child is then supported step by step.

In both cases, the goal stays the same: more independence for the child, less tension for parents.

Independent mode

The child turns on Kaïdo and starts their homework

In independent mode, the child uses Kaïdo directly during homework. They can read an instruction to it, explain what they do not understand, ask a question or request a hint.

Kaïdo listens to them, rephrases if needed, then helps them move forward step by step.

It does not simply give the answer. It supports the child in their reasoning.

Kaïdo helps to understand, search and check

When the child gets stuck, Kaïdo can help them to:

  • understand an instruction;
  • break an exercise down into several steps;
  • recall a method;
  • look for a lead;
  • check their reasoning;
  • rephrase what they have understood.

The child stays in charge of their work. Kaïdo is there to unblock, guide and reassure.

A simple reference point during homework

Kaïdo can also help the child figure out where they stand during their session: are they progressing well, do they need a hint, is there a point worth reviewing with a parent?

The idea is not to monitor the child, but to give them a clear framework to progress with more confidence.

Guided session

The parent prepares the homework from the app

In a guided session, the parent prepares the work to be done beforehand from the app.

They can take a photo of a notebook page, an exercise, a lesson or an instruction. Kaïdo then analyzes the content to build tailored support.

The parent can thus turn potentially tricky homework into a clearer path for the child.

Kaïdo supports the child step by step

Once the session is ready, the child can start their homework with Kaïdo.

Kaïdo already knows the context: the instruction, the exercise, the important steps, the points to watch out for. It can therefore guide the child more precisely.

It helps the child understand what they have to do, move forward in the right order and think for themselves.

The parent keeps track

At the end of the session, the parent can see what was worked on, the sticking points encountered, the help requested and the progress made.

This helps them better understand where the child stands, without having to be behind them for the whole session.

Two uses, one same promise

Whether the child uses Kaïdo alone or in a session prepared by the parent, the logic stays the same:

Kaïdo guides.
The child thinks.
The parent keeps track.

Kaïdo is not there to do the homework for the child. It is there to help them understand, gain confidence and gradually become more independent.

Designed for the real life of families

On some evenings, the child simply needs a little push to get started.
On other evenings, the parent knows an exercise will be harder and prefers to prepare a guided session.

Kaïdo adapts to these situations.

It helps make homework smoother, clearer and calmer, without taking away from the child the effort needed to learn.
